Before MTW, I was really struggling with school and I was involved with the court. I was failing my classes and staying out all night. I learned about MTW from my lawyer. I was really overwhelmed at first, but everyone was really nice and supportive. The MTW experience really helped me step outside of my comfort zone and grow into a really strong leader. It has also helped me stay on track with my education and to stay focused on the big picture of getting into college. I had so many opportunities while working at MTW and every opportunity has been helping towards my future. I graduated from MTW in May 2014. Right now I am finishing my senior year at Waltham High School and working part-time. }|
am applying to college and hope to study psychology, public health or social work. I was recommended by one of the MTW staff for the Mass Star leadership conference where I worked with other students from around the state and developed better leadership skills. Last month I started the Health Professions Recruitment & Exposure Program at Harvard Medical School. MTW helped me turn my life around.
